Optimizing the personalization process

Our client, one of the largest federations of credit unions in North America with more than 7 million customers, used Personalization outsourcing services from Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) to streamline and optimize their card personalization
operations.

Before working with G+D, the client bought manufactured cards from global suppliers, and then handled the personalization process in-house for VISA, Mastercard and prepaid cards that served their end consumers, and those of their affiliated credit unions. The financial institution also handled in-house digital and mobile applications but relied on external vendors for data prep and backup services.
